Biography
Letty holds an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis. She received her Juris Doctorate degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law. Letty has 28 years of experience as a civil trial attorney, handling complex cases. Her civil experience began when she practiced insurance defense law with the firm of Dana, DeHart, Price, Chaffin & Shade in Sacramento. She later became a partner in the Sacramento law firm of DeHart & Litchfield until she decided to open her own law firm to represent the injured. Over the years, the Law Offices of Letty Litchfield has been based out of Sacramento and Marysville, CA, but she serves injured clients in all Northern California counties. Letty considers her practice highly mobile, with the ability to meet personally with injured clients in locations convenient to them.
Letty enjoys hiking, Stand-Up paddling, & Outrigger Canoe paddling & racing.
Letty enjoys volunteer work. She is on the Board of Directors of the Bear Yuba Land Trust & serves on their Governance Committee. She is also mentoring a first-year law student at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento as part of the school’s Legal Professions course. Letty served as an Honorary Commander to Beale, A.F.B. squadrons for several years as part of her then membership in the Beale Military Liaison Group.
